Appointments

Starting from Monday 10th November, all acute appoimtments for over 16 year olds will be directed through the Rapid Health online system and appointments for under 16 year olds will be directed through Accurx. You will need to complete the online form, no GP appointments will be offered if you call the pratice or walk into the practice.

What is Rapid Health? (for patients over 16)

Rapid Health is a smart clinical triage system approved by the NHS. It allows the patient to either make an administrative request, book an appointment or receive self help information.
When you click on the link above, it will offer the following options:

  • Medical Request
  • Admin Request
  • Self-help information

Clicking on the medical request button will take you to a detailed questionnaire to complete. This is then triaged, following which a suitable appoimtment will be offered. If an appointment cannot be offered, the practice will be in touch with you the same day before 6.30pm.

What is Accurx? (for patients under 16)

You can submit medical or administrative requests to your GP electronically at any time during the practice's opening hours. Your request will be reviewed by a Clinician and then a member of the practice team will be in touch with you the same day with the next steps.

If you have any of the following conditions, before booking an appointment, please speak directly to your local pharmacist:

  • Ear ache - age 16 or over
  • Impetigo - 1 year and over
  • Infected Insect Bites- 1 year and over
  • Shingles - 18 year and over
  • Sinusitis - 12 years and over
  • Sore throat - 5 years and over
  • Uncomplicated UTI - women aged 16-64

Pharmacists are trained to advise and offer prescriptions for these conditions, often far quicker than your GP.

How do I book an appointment?

UNDER 16- https://accurx.nhs.uk/patient-initiated/C82018

OVER 16 - https://manorpark-consult.uk.rapidhealth.co.uk/

**Please ensure your email address is up to date with our Practice, as you may receive your appointment confirmation, or a booking link via email**

What do I do if I do not have access to the internet?

We understand that not everyone can manage to do this online. If this is the case, please ring reception and one of our team will take you through the questionnaire and submit it on your behalf. You will then be offered an appoimtment in exactly the same way as anyone filling the form in online. Please be aware that if you do call reception, completing the questionnaire over the telephone with them will take longer than you completing this online yourself.

When can I use Rapid Health and Accurx?

The Rapid Health system (for over 16 year olds) and Accurx (for under 16 year olds) will be available from 8am-6.30pm Monday - Friday.
